Dedicated to the goddess Gauri (or Pavarti), the wife of Shiva, these statues are given as votive offerings by women during the Gangaur festival. Historically, Gangaur figures were made of wood or clay, carved into the semblance of Gauri and often painted. Modern figures may be made from a range of materials.
Antique Gauri statues are often highly valued and are rare. This statue dates from the early 1800’s and has a beautiful patina commensurate with its age. One arm shows old damage, with the forearm broken off.

The stock levels may fluctuate at any moment. Be aware that it is possible that your order will be out of stock after you've placed your order.
Our policy lasts thirty days. If it's been more than 30 days since the date you purchased your item and we're unable to offer you a complete refund or exchange.
You can only return an item if it is unused and still in the same condition when you first received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging.
