Handcrafted in Nepal by a Tibetan artisan from high-grade heavy resin, these statues of the Buddha, in his various forms, are beautifully detailed and hand finished with a rich lustre.
These are excellent castings. Each Buddha features flowing robes, while free hands cradle the begging bowl.
Each buddha statue is 11 cm (4.25 inches) in height
The Buddhas are:
- Bhaiṣajyaguru (Holding the medicine bowl, a branch from the healing myrobalan plant and displaying Varada or Gift Bestowing Mudra)
- Akshobhya (Hand down, facing inwards – Bhumisparsa or Witness Mudra)
- Vairochana (Both hands up close to the chest – Dharmachakra or Teaching Mudra)
- Amoghshiddhi (Hand raised, facing outwards – Abhaya or Protection Mudra)
- Amitabha (Both hands in the lap – Dhyana or Meditation Mudra)
